Boema builds lines for chestnuts' peeling with steam.
Chestnuts, previously sized and cleaned from foreign bodies, pass through a multiple-blade shell scorer, which performs several cuts on the outer peel. From this point, the product, by means of a worm screw parboiler and a skin separator belt, is cleaned from the peel and the inner membrane. The end line will be constituted of a manual sorting belt and of a tank in water for the rinsing with extraction elevator. Chestnuts at output will be peeled and ready for the freezing. The line capacity is 500 kg/h at input.
