The tanks and vinifiers for the enological sector are conceived for wine storage and fermentation. Boema S.p.A. manufactures the following types of tanks and vinifiers for the oenological sector:

- STORAGE TANKS AND ALWAYS FULL TANKS: These tanks of the series STK and SP are used for the simple storage of wines. The “always full” version enables to have variable capacities inside the tank.

- PARTIAL THERMO CONDITIONED TANKS: These tanks of the series TP are provided with a partial cooling/heating interspace on the plating. The interspace is covered with a high density isolating layer, closed into an outer jacket made of stainless steel and completed welded. These tanks are particularly suitable for vinification of red wines and to perform the malolactic fermentation.

- TOTAL THERMO CONDITIONED TANKS: These tanks of the series TT are provided with a cooling/heating interspace on the whole surface of the plating. The whole tank is covered with an high density isolating layer with high thickness (80 mm), closed into an outer jacket made of stainless steel and completed welded. These tanks are provided with a big interspace and total isolation and are therefore particularly suitable for the tartaric stability of wines.

- TESTED AUTOCLAVES: These tanks of the series AC are used to turn the wines into sparkling. They are conceived to work under pressure (6 bar) and are provided with a cooling interspace on the whole surface of the plating. The whole tank is covered with an high density isolating layer with high thickness (80 mm), closed into an outer jacket made of stainless steel and completed welded.

- HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL VINIFIERS: The vinifiers of the series VO and VV are used for red wines vinification. They are provided with an impeller stirrer with paddles to extract the colour and all the organoleptic substances of the grapes. This system of vinification is really interesting if compared with the traditional one, since it grants an optimal extraction yield with a notable saving in terms of labourers.
